Equity Team
The purpose of the EHK12 Equity Team is to increase cultural awareness across staff and to empower students and families in service of community-wide equity. Equity Team meetings and events are opportunities to gain knowledge, share concerns, and learn about how we can build, be inclusive, and continue to improve our diverse communities and our lives.
In partnership with other EHK12 stakeholders, the Equity Team reviews current school policies and procedures, decision-making processes, allocation of time and money, student and family data, and community engagement strategies in an effort to reduce inequities and disproportionalities that exist and hinder communities of historically underrepresented backgrounds.
